  • Sequence of Movement

Both the left hand and the right hand form a "pipette grip" (the fingertips of the thumb and index finger of the respective hand are brought together). Now place these joined fingertips on the right shoulder blade of the person in addressed in such a way that both hands almost touch. While the left hand remains motionless on the spot, the right hand moves outwards. In doing so, the fingertips open and describe a kind of elypse, only to be brought together again. This is supposed to represent the shape of a loaf of bread. After the fingertips have been brought together again, take the left hand away from the back. The right hand now changes its shape to a flat hand. The back of the hand is now moved in a small, straight movement from top to bottom over the outer shoulder blade at the point where the imaginary loaf of bread approximately ended. This represents the cutting of a slice of bread.

    Shape of hand

  • Sequence of Movement

With the right hand the pipette handle is executed (here the fingertips of thumb and index finger are brought together). This pipette hand is placed on the right shoulder blade of the addressed person with the fingertips. Now the hand moves outwards, whereby the fingertips open and describe a kind of elypse, only to be brought together again. This should represent the shape of a loaf of bread. After the fingertips are brought together again, the hand changes its shape and becomes a flat hand. The back of the hand is now moved in a small straight movement from top to bottom over the outer shoulder blade at the point where the imaginary loaf of bread approximately ended. This represents the cutting of a slice of bread.
