  • Sequence of Movement

The hand is made into a loose flat hand. This is placed with the palm of the hand on the upper arm of the person addressed. Through several small movements in the wrist, the hand is now turned back and forth over the edge of the hand so that either the palm of the hand or the back of the hand loosely touch the upper arm (this movement is similar to the ASL gesture for "interpreter").

  • Sequence of Movement

Both hands are loosely enclosed by the hands of the deafblind person addressed. The active hand now detaches from them and forms a loose flat hand. This is placed with the palm of the hand on the back of the hand of the addressed person. By several small movements in the wrist the own hand is turned back and forth over the edge of the hand in such a way that sometimes the palm of the hand, sometimes the back of the hand touches the back of the hand of the person addressed (this movement is similar to the ASL gesture for "interpreter").

  • Sequence of Movement

The person addressed is sitting and has his hands loosely on his own thighs. The assistant now shapes his or her own hand into a loose flat hand. The back of this flat hand is placed slightly on the back of the person's hand. By making several small rotations in the wrist, the hand is tilted down and up again so that the palm of the hand briefly touches the back of the person's hand several times (this movement is similar to the ASL gesture for "interpreter").
